Wow, I have done such a terrible job posting lately! I think I still haven't gotten back in the groove after the holidays. It's hard to believe that it is already the middle of January!
Well, Kev and I had much to celebrate last weekend. On Friday, I turned 28 then on Sunday we celebrated our 6 year anniversary! That's a lot to celebrate in one weekend. We started our weekend of fun by going to a matinee of Avator in 3D. This is a splurge for us because we NEVER go to the "big" movie theater as I call it. We're pretty much cheap skates in watching movies, so we will go to the dollar theater. It's pretty amazing how much more comfortable the seats are at the big theater! I enjoy going to the theater to watch movies but it makes Kev absolutely giddy. It truly makes me excited because he is so excited. As a side note, ever since then, he keeps mentioning wanting to go back to watch another movie...we may be creating a very expensive addiction here. After our movie, we went to a bed and breakfast in Edmond for the night, which was so much fun. Even though we weren't far from home, it was nice to get away. We had dinner at a fun new restaurant which was delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend!
I must say, I am married to the best man in the whole world! I can't believe it has already been six years...it has definitely been six wonderful years. Someone told me I should post pictures from our wedding day. Great idea except we have no digital pics...this makes me very sad. So instead, I thought I would show you a few pictures of before we were married when were dating.
So sweet!
Hiking in France.
Paella in Spain...so delicious.
Fun in Cinque Terre, Italy. The very disturbing thing about this picture is it reminded me how old my tshirt is, which of course I still wear.
The night we got engaged. I absolutely love this picture because you can see the pure joy and excitement in our eyes. Promises made of lives spent together.
Engaged and back in the states!
How we've changed and yet remained the same. I can't wait to see what the next six year holds!
